I grew up in New York City with a love for all things art. Like everyone else, I went to college to pursue a degree but decided very shortly after starting that I have a passion for making people feel and look like the best versions of themselves. I left college and went to beauty school to embark on a career as a colorist where I was trained to create hair color formulas that would enhance a person's best features. I worked in this world for about 8 years training in some of Manhattan’s top hair salons, until I discovered the art of spray tanning. I admired how I was able to completely remove the need for the toxic sun for people in just 15 minutes! I spent 2 years or so gaining experience in the top spray tan salons in NYC. Very shortly after, I fell in love with yet another sector in the beauty world: eyelash extensions. Though I am self trained, I have mastered the application of classic and volume lashes. I have bundled my 10+ years of training and experience into one big box that I happily bring to your doorstep! Perfecting my skills and providing 5-star service to my clients continues to be a priority for me, and I spend most of my days traveling around New York and New Jersey to service my clients!

SPRAY TANNING
How does an at-home spray tan work? Will it get all over my walls?
It will not get on your walls! I come prepared with a spray tan tent, and plenty of towels to ensure a spotless procedure. The spray tan tent is a foldable, portable structure made of polyester and nylon that contains the mist from the spray. I lay out towels under my tools, and along the floor of tent to ensure that the solution doesn’t come in contact with your surface and the bottom of your feet.
If I am black, can I get a spray tan?
Of course you can! A spray tan will work with anyone’s natural tone to achieve a more radiant and bronzed result.
If I am a guy, can I get a spray tan?
Yes you can! Due to the intimate nature of spray tanning services, we will appoint a male employee to supervise at-home spray tanning appointments for our male clients.
Are your solutions organic?
I only use top of the line products and carry organic and natural based solutions that do not contain artificial fragrances, parabens, mineral oils, glycols, sulphates or TEA that are harmful to your skin. It caters to a wide variety of skin types, and have been complimented by several dermatologists. Please note that my solutions do contain oils derived from seeds and plants which may affect those who are allergic.
I’m going on vacation and have so many beauty services to get done, when should I book my spray tan?
Your spray tan should be last on your list for your beauty routine. This means get all spa services, manis/pedis, waxing, blowouts etc., BEFORE your spray tan.
How should I prepare for my spray tan?
Start exfoliating your skin at least 48 hours before your appointment, use a good scrub to buff away dead skin so that your skin is brand new and fresh for your appointment. Be sure to be rid of oils, lotions, deodorant and makeup on the day of your appointment. This will ensure a streak-free spray tan. Be sure to have all other beauty services done first!
Can I work out after a spray tan?
I suggest that you skip working out for 1-2 days after your spray tan to give it the time it needs to settle in, especially if you’re someone who sweats heavily.
When can I shower?
Depending on which solution you were sprayed with (regular/express) you could either shower in 8-12 hours, or 2-4 hours. Your first shower will just be a quick rinse under lukewarm/cool water. Avoid heavy water pressure. Do not use any soap or shampoo, just rinse. Always pat dry with a soft towel after every shower. In 12 hours, you can take a thorough shower, just be sure to use gentle products such as Purpose Body Wash. The idea is to use products that are as gentle as possible so as not to ruin the tan. Do not soak in a tub at any point while you have a spray tan. This could blotch the tan. Be sure to also moisturize thoroughly after every shower starting from your first thorough shower. A good moisturizer for spray tans is Hempz Body Lotion. Otherwise, you want a moisturizer that doesn’t contain oils or soy products. Do not apply moisturizer after your rinse, as the tan continues to slightly develop on your skin even after that first rinse.
How do I remove a spray tan?
Usually my spray tans fade naturally and gracefully as you shower and live your life. However, if you need to remove it sooner you can use a wash cloth and an exfoliating soap such as Crystal Peel Exfoliating Bar Soap to manually scrub it off. You can also cover your body in oil, leave it on for 15 minutes and scrub after to make it easier to remove.
EYELASH EXTENSIONS
How are eyelash extensions applied? What should I expect?
If you booked an at-home lash appointment, you can expect for me to bring a massage table and lighting to ensure a perfect set up. You would be laying flat and I would be sitting over your head. I would start by applying gel patches/tape under your eyes to separate your bottom lashes from your top lashes. This will ensure that the extensions don’t stick to your bottom lashes. Your eyes will be closed for the duration of the procedure. Once I start working, I will cleanse your lashes with a gentle lash cleanser, this might feel cold and wet while cleansing. I then will gently start applying individual lash extensions to your natural lashes by isolating each natural lash and attaching a synthetic fiber to your natural lash. You shouldn’t feel this part at all. Most people fall asleep during the process. At the end, I will dry your lashes with small motorized hand held fans. This will feel cool and will last about 1-2 minutes to ensure that the glue is fully dried before you open your eyes. I will check your lashes to ensure none were stuck to other lashes during the process. You might feel a slight pull as I gently perfect the lashes.
How long do eyelash extensions last? When should I come back for a refill?
If cared for properly lashes can last up to 4 weeks. They will slowly shed over the course of a month fiber by fiber. Depending on how full you like them, you may opt to come back in 2 weeks to refill them. Some like when their lashes look more sparse as this is more of a natural look, in which case you can book your refill 3 weeks after your set.
Will eyelash extensions damage my own lashes?
I assure that lashes are applied correctly and neatly which will ensure the safety and health of your natural lashes. Be sure not to rub your eyes or pull on the extensions as this can cause lash loss and damage to your natural lashes. Be sure to avoid putting on strip lashes over lash extensions, as this will surely pull out your natural lashes. Gently brush them in a downward motion daily to ensure that they don’t get tangled as your lashes grow.
Can I wet my eyelashes?
You won’t be able to get your lashes wet for 48 hours after the lash service. Afterwards you can resume normal activity, such as swimming, washing your face etc.
Can I still wear eye makeup? How can I cleanse eye makeup so my eyelash extensions don’t get ruined?
You can wear any water based, non-waterproof product. If you like to wear eyeliner, try not to apply on the lash extensions. Avoid mascara on the extensions, water based mascara may be applied on bottom lashes. You can clean your lashes using a gentle foam cleanser formulated for lash extensions such as Bubble Lash Shampoo. If washing your eyes is not an option, you can gently clean the extensions themselves by dipping a clean mascara wand into Micellar Water and brushing through your lash extensions with it. This should remove makeup residue, when washing your whole face isn't an option.
Policies & Rules
We reserve the full right to deny services to those who do not wish to agree to the following terms.
In order to book, you must submit all information, (full name, e-mail, instagram, phone #, address), complete the waivers and send a non-refundable deposit to hold your appointment. No deposit = No appointment.
- If you are coming from another salon/lash artist, you will be charged for a new set, unless authorized otherwise. New sets are also subject to an additional fee for removal should you need one.
- It is your responsibility to ensure that you like your result at your appointment. Your appointment is your opportunity to get anything fixed/added/corrected at that time. If you decide you need corrections, refills at a later time, you will be charged for a refill. If you have any major lash fall-outs within the first 3 days since getting your new set, you can book an appointment for a free fix at Amanda's studio upon Amanda's approval. You would have to come to me if you need a fix, there is no mobile availability for "free fix" appointments.Please contact Amanda first.A "fix" is only eligible to be booked within 3 days of your last new set, and only if Amanda has availability. Anything after 3 days, will be booked and charged as a refill.Example: Corrections on day 4 will be priced as a refill. Spray tan appointments are ineligible for touch-ups or fixes. You will need to book/pay for a new spray tan appointment if you need one.
- You are eligible for a re-fill appointment anytime between day 4-21 since getting your new set. Anything over 21 days since your last new set, is priced as another new set. (Example: If you book for day 21, your appointment is priced as a refill. If you book on day 22, your appointment will be priced as a new set. It is best to book your refill to happen on or between 14-17 days for best results. Your lashes are fully grown out at 21 days, so for best result, if you waited this long it is better to book a new set so that we can remove all the outgrown extensions and replace them with new extensions. It is your responsibility to secure your appointment in advance enough and in time for you to get your refill. This does not mean contact me before 21 days, this meansbook and secure your appointment in advance enough to ensure you get in. There will be no extending the refill price if you cannot get in. It is recommended that you book and secure your refill appointment by the end of your prior appointment to be absolutely safe. I get booked and busy quickly! It is not wise to wait till day 20, to inquire about a refill appointment. There are no additional removal fees on sets done by us as long as you are getting a new set or medically require your lashes to be removed. If you just want to remove them, a fee will apply.
- If you require a new set during the time that you are only due for a refill, you will only be charged for a refill. However, if you want a new set (not necessary) and you are only due for a refill, you will be charged for a new set.
- All locations outside of Manhattan will be charged a travel fee starting at $35 depending on distance from Amanda's studio and tolls paid. Amanda drives to every client to ensure the fastest, on location service, If your area doesn't have street parking, you will be charged an additional fee for garage parking.
- Please note that for mobile appointments, you are booking an estimated appointment time. Please allow the hour from your confirmed appointment time for Amanda's arrival. This means if you book a 6pm appointment, you can expect Amanda to arrive at any point between 6pm-7pm) Travel times and conditions on the road are often unpredictable. If you require to be seen on time, please book an in-studio appointment, or contact Amanda directly at 646-401-2444. If you book online, we will assume that you agree with all the aforementioned terms.
- All appointments are subject to a 24 hour cancellation policy. If you cancel/reschedule with less than 24 hours notice, you will lose your deposit/be charged in full, depending on what you provided to book. You will need to submit a new deposit to secure another appointment. No - Shows will be charged in full. If you cancel while Amanda is on the way, your deposit will be kept/you will be charged in full even if you reschedule. All in-studio appointments are allowed a 15 minute grace period. If you are more than 15 minutes late, you run the risk of forfeiting your appointment. If this happens, you are granted one chance to reschedule that appointment and transfer your deposit to that day.
- Payment for your service is due in full by the end of your appointment. Payments can be made in cash, or bank transfer via Zelle or PayPal. Please plan accordingly in advance to ensure you have payment ready by the end of your appointment.
- Please do not bring guests to your appointment at Amanda's studio without Amanda's permission.
- For in-home appointments, please be ready within the first 15 minutes of Amanda's arrival. Amanda books out enough time to pack/unpack and do your service. It is important that she remains on schedule so that she can get to everyone on time. (Example: Amanda cannot wait 20 additional minutes for you to finish laundry/household tasks.) It is best to shower and have all make-up removed prior to Amanda's arrival.
- Please try to keep pets and/or children under care/supervision by someone other than you for the duration of our service. If you are unable to do so, please inform Amanda with notice so that she may allow some extra time for your appointment.
- Please inform Amanda in advance if your building does not provide an elevator and we may need to take stairs to reach your location. Amanda carries a lot of stuff to appointments and can arrange for extra help in advance if needed.
- Hours of operation are 12pm-11pm Tuesday through Saturday. Sunday’s & Mondays are closed. If you need services on our closed days, service/travel rates are doubled. Early morning/after hours bookings will incur an extra $50 fee.
- You will be sent a confirmation email which will contain all the details of your appointment including date, time, cost and tips for how to prepare for your appointment.
